Hi having problems upgrading my processor. Have tried many bios updates but the 2600+ is installed but is detected as an Athlon XP 2000+ . Am upgrading from an Athlon XP 1700+

I have changed the fsb settings to 133/133= 266 but its still coming out wrong have tried latest bios.

I am begining to wonder if the chip is actually a 2000+ and the seller on ebay has it wrong but im assured it right!

Any help appreciated

What is the part number on the chip?
