Thank you for your time!

I am in a process of upgrading my older system:
VIA KT-133 Chipset (K7VAT + REV:3.0) with 462 socket, Athlon 1GHz cpu, and 768MB of Ram.

1.
I am little confused by original mobo documentation.
On front page it's said:" The KT133/VT8363 supports DRAMs up to 1.5 GB. The DRAM controller supports standard Synchronous DRAM(SDRAM) and Virtual Channel SDRAM (VCSDRAM), in a flexible mix/match manner. The Synchronous DRAM interface allows zero wait state bursting between the DRAM and the data buffers at 66/100/133 MHz. The six banks of DRAM can be composed of an arbitrary mixture of 1M/2M/4M/8M/16M/32MxN DRAMs."

But then on DIMM Memory Installation Page it's said:"The main board has 3 DIMMs on board. Either DIMM1, DIMM2, DIMM3 supports 8MB,16MB,32MB,64MB,128MB,256MB. Maximum memory for SDRAM is up to 768MB”.

My questions are: What would by the maximum upgradeable capacity of this mobo?, What would be the maximum memory speed (133MHz?) accepted and utilized by this mobo?, Also what type of ram would you recommend, and where would be the best place to purchase it?

2.
My second main question is: What is the fastest processor that I can install on this 462 socket (1.4GHz Thunderbird?)
And what would be the maximum bus speed for this mobo (200MHz or 266MHz?), Should I consider overclocking? and what is the best online resource for overclocking reference?.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Mike
