Nothing gets me more than ridiculous shipping prices. In fact shipping costs influence me as a buyer on future purchases from a seller. If I see them price gouging on shipping I tend to leave them alone in the future regardless of pricing.

I don't often buy when the bulk of the cost is in excessive shipping. I like to know that what I pay for a chip is what I bid, and that shipping is roughly at cost (with maybe a small amount for handling, but not an excessive profit on shipping). _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Why cant we all just put the ACTUAL shipping cost, plus maybe a buck or two to get there? |

Sad, but if somewhere were travelling near him does this mean they would not be allowed to collect in person? I've come across sellers many a time who do that, I find it truly odd!
Mind you, I guess if someone collects solely to try and enhance their standing as a trader, they will try anything (like $5000 for a $300 or cheaper chip...) _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

I bet Shipping them to Antarctic would cost more than that. _________________ My vintage CPU collection:www.cpumuseum.com
