hello to all collectors,

actually i am not one of you, but a crazy socket 7 lover. thats why i am interested in some info about all 180nm k6 cpus produced by amd. what i am trying to find out is how much there actually were produced in total ...

... indeed, hard to find out. i noticed that every cpu has the production date on the top and a specific part number on the ceramic base - no idea, if its unique, but i will see.

thats why i am asking you guys - who has got the 2+ or III+ versions, could you tell me the number on the left upper ceramic base? as well the production data (A 0131DPCW for ex.) and what cpu it is. actually i am interested in all cpus produced in the first month of 2000 (2+ aczm versions) and from 2001 on ... thanks @ all!

by the way - very informative site. in the cpu library i found a cpu produced even in 2003, as well the k6 2+ 350auz - never heard of them ever ...

If you want what may be the most complete listing of K6-2, K6-2+, K6-III and K6-III+ online, see the K6-2 page and K6-3 page on my site.

I don't claim it to be the largest collection of K62 or K6-3 chips, just possibly the largest list of what is known (and I am always interested to hear of any that are not in my lists, especially if for sale...)

thanks for that link,

trying to get at least all k6 III+ produced by amd together in one photo library is quite hard to manage. at your link there are some processors missing, that i know for sure they do exist:
k6 III+ 400acr
k6 III+ 450anz
k6 III-P 475ack - i uploaded a photo of that one recently, look here:

www. cpuphotolibrary.com/img5383.htm

on the other hand i am not sure these processors listed at your site are realy existing:
k6 III+ 450atz
k6 III+ 500apz
k6 III+ 550anz
never seen one of those. maybe they exist, but only in some view thousend numbers.

but the purpose of this thread is not finding out which III+ processors are out there. i am only interested in the ceramic part numbers of the last socket7 processors produced. its a seven digit number on the upper left corner of the ceramic cpu base. i see, it will be hard to get that info ...

Thomas already showed me the 475ACK, thanks for the other info. I'll add that to my pages next week...
