I find a cpu named P60
Is someone tell me if it is ES?
I can not remove the heater. |

| It is probably sx753 or sx842 but your would have to remove the heat sink to tell. The ES on the back does not mean engineering sample. It indicates some sort of batch code and is pretty common on Intel chips. The heat sink on this chip is attached with an epoxy which is very difficult to remove. No on that I have seen has figured out a way to reliably get it off without harming the white text (the laser etched text will be fine.) I am afraid many have broken chips removing these heat sinks so care is advised. |
