hello there, possible this has already been answered but i counldn't find it...

had a Northwood P4 2.8Ghz, 512 cache, 478, and upgraded to a Prescott 3.4Ghz 1MB cache 800fsb.
what im wondering is do i need to upgrade the heatsink and fan also??
its running atm at 44C but when i play a game (STALKER) it runs at over 70C....the max temp is suppose to be 70C....
is this normal or should i be worried.....dont want to fry the new CPU!! Embarassed
thx in advance

prescott processors are very hot, buy a good heatsink+fan or go for liquid cooling. I have a prescott 3'2@3'4 with this cooler http://www.noticias3d.com/imagen.asp?url=/articulos/200601/gpower_lite/imagenes/contenido.jpg
... my normal temps are 35ºC on idle and 60ºC running at 100%
