Pentium II - Custom Package ???

Hi,

I got this very strange CPU.

There are no markings on it, but I think it's a PII for Slot 1.
I opened the case (picture 3) - it isn't a Celeron because there are cache chips.

Does somebody have an idea why this PII was extracted from it's package and was put in this one? - It's is quite difficult to break a SECC1 cartrige.

Does somebody have a similar chip in his/her collection?
