i wonder about this manufactors....
chips
wdc
vlsi
they are all big in chips but havent they made any cpu,fpu or mcu becouse i cant find any info saying? |

Chips = Chips & Technologies (they made the famous Super 386 and Super Math)
WDC = Western Digital

There is another WDC - Western Design Center. They make 65C02, 65C816 and microcontrollers based on them.

sitting her whit a wdc...dont now who of them it,the print say:
(c)wdc`83
wd1010a-pl
05-05 8535
and my other wdc is almost alike or all have the WD in front of the numbers and so on |

This is Western Digital's MFM hard disk controller. Was used on original IBM PC/AT FDD/HDD adapter. |
