|
|
Hi. Ive got a Gigabyte GA7VT600-L motherboard with an AMD Athlon XP 2000+ processor and would like to upgrade to the AMD Sempron 3300+ 400Mhz.
The Sempron 3300+ is not on the list as being compatible but I've read that Semprons are rebadged Athlons and the Sempron 3300+ is the Athlon 3200+. Can I use the Sempron 3300+?
Also can I use a Spire Whisperrock V cooler with the 3300+?
Any advice would be much appreciated. |

Since you board supports Athlon XP 3200+ then it probably supports Sempron 3300+ SDA3300DKV4E too. If you don't have the processor then it may be better to go with Athlon XP 3200+. On eBay they are cheaper than Semprons 3300+.
