| Can I install a faster CPU in a K7SEM motherboard?? Currently it runs an AMD Duron (1GHz) processor. I just completed a BIOS upgrade (new chip) supplied by eSupport, and will increase the RAM from 512MB to 1GB. |

It depends on your board revision. If you have PCB revision 3.0 then you can run Athlon XP 2600+ with 266 MHz FSB (AXDA2600DKV3C). Other board revisions support Athlon XP 2200+ (AXDA2200DKV3C or AXDA2200DUV3C) and slower processors.
