I found an uncommon CPU at ebay German seller, it is Intel Pentium 4 2GHz with Socket 423. Seller has 95 units now, you can get it with an accessible costs.

Not uncommon or rare. The fact he has 95 units is proof, and if you look at chip brokers they have 10,000's

Even the ES 2gig cpus are available...

Aaaahhhh!

I really search for this model and never seen under 50 USD. For me it was really difficult to see at this price.
If you think it is not uncommon for you, ok. Let to see for others collectors, it it possible to be interesting for them.

I will appreciate a knowledge base of CPUs to check for CPUs, when a collector search for a model in special like me in that case.

It is difficult to know if a chip that was made after 2000 or 2001 will be uncommon or not.
Because, lot of people keep them.

The price is not a good criteria too for modern cpu, because they are still useful for non-collector people.

As for Socket 423 Pentium 4, this is the fastest for this socket. Fastest cpu for a socket always remain expansive for a long time.
The Pentium III-S 1400 is still more than 50$ now...

Haha Dont forget the Athlon XP 3200+ for about $100 Very Happy

And dont forget the high end Socket 7 chips running 500MHz+ Very Happy Haha! I cant believe THOSE sell for use!

Makes me laugh that some people pay more on eBay for some modern chips than they would pay retail down the High Street Smile
