Hello all. I have an ECS K7S5A 1.0 mother board and have a 1.3 gigahertz AMD Duron processor.
I would like to fit the fastest possible processor but, being a complete novice, I'm not exactly sure what to get.
Could someone please list the processors that would be suitable for my motherboard ? and, if anyone has one for sale, please let me know.
Many thanks in anticipation for your help.

The fastest processor for your board is AXDA2200DKV3C or AXDA2200DUV3C. There should be plenty of these on eBay.

Thanks for your replies. I googled both and have found one of each on Ebay, however, I was suprised to learn from you that the fastest CPU i can fit is only 1.8.......I was under the impresion i could go up to 2.4.
I thought I'd read that somewhere on one of the forums.
Anyway, thanks to those who replied.
