Its a P4004 which is i a plastic package. This is a pretty common chip and no way near a ceramic 4004. Since i do not collect these im not sure about value.

Still a great chip to have in a collection and the other chips are not bad either for example the TM 50/50 MATH COPROCESSOR 5050-83C87-SX20 _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. | I paid 168.00 with shipping included. I started to bid on them not even knowing about the 4004 or the others, i liked some of the rest i saw that were unusual in the bunch. Then i read the list and was OMFG this cant be. I am so excited im about to pee myself. Even if the 4004 isnt worth much, they cost me about 2.00 a chip which is great for some of the rest in the list. |

im going to be happy even if its not a ceramic 4004, its my first 4004. Maybe later ill go for the big win and get a zebra stripe with the gold dot 4004. But not too soon im sure as i see the price tags on them are not inexpensive. Anyway ill be sure and post some pics of the stuff when it arrives. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

4004 is 4004!
No matter what other more uncommon cpus do you have. I understand you very well.

Should be fun to see , the guy emailed me a thanks for the purchase and said hes going to throw in some others that arent in the sale lot too. He said they come from a tekronix board and that there will be several of them so i even get a surprise in the box. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once."
