Working.
The guy wants 50€, is that too much? |

A fair price for an Alpha 21164-CPU without mainboard
would be around €15-20 I think.

I dont want to sound grumpy but why a reply in italian in a public english-speaking forum? Your reply are interesting to more than the user who asked. Thats the whole deal with forums... One that writes, many that reads. _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. I think Cpuswe's point was that your English is much better than everybody else's Italian

Not more terrible than any body elses! ~70% of the regular posters here are not native english-speaking. So in my opinion, how you manage the verbs and temps does not matter. Its better to have a grammatically incorrect post than no post at all. _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Ok, so 50€ cpu+mobo is fair?
Good to know. Many thanks.
The seller is close to me so I prefer to buy from him for that reason only. No other hassles. I can stick any ECC in or do I need DEC modules?
Isa grazie (thank you) , thanks to the others too |

if mobo have ZIF or LIF socket then it is worth ... you will have board to test kind of Alpha CPUs If you are not interested in testing anything I would go up to max 30 EUR _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

Thank you.
The board has zip socket. Seems hard to unscrew the cpu, I have to look for proper tools. The board only works with 433-533-600 mhz cpus.
The guy has a lot more stuff, like a working quad Ppro
