Athlon XP2800+ in a wood case build by myself with also an integrated valve audio amplifer (and a lot of dust !!)

I wish I had enough time ( and money) to homebrew mod a case. Awesome. Smile My only one requirement is near silence.

Under my desk is an AMD K6-2/500 working
in a mainstream computer shell.... but still fast
enough for surfing and (old) office applications. Cool

Very impressive mod! I always wanted to mod a old wooden radio my grandmother has and but a Via 1Ghz chip in it. Still might do it.

PS i like old radios, dont mod it, radios are computer precedessors, those valves were invented for this purpose!

Good point Smile Last time we were at my grandma's house I found out how to get into the attic. According to my mom know one had been in the attic in 50+ years. I found 5 old wooden radios of various types. Next time I go I am going to bring them back with me.
