Hi,

what diagnostic program do you use to display the CPU data?

I have an Q6600 in my computer. It runs with 9x multiplier but CPU-Z shows only 6x !!!
BIOS and benchmark / test software show the correct settings.

If you are using Windows XP try to run dxdiag.

- If your CPU runs with correct clock multiplier you will see this on the first page.
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz (4 CPUs)

If the chip runs with 6x multi you will see something like this:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 1.60 GHz (4 CPUs)
