I found a little information on AMD site about Duron 550Mhz. (6th page)
They mention as D0550AUT1B. So that's exists...at least in the documentations. But I can't find any picture.
Does anybody know what has happened with Duron 550Mhz? |

Hi Picur,
maybe a little help from AMD:
"...The part number you provided, D0550AUT1B, is a valid part number for an AMD processor. According to the matrix we have, it is a regular mass-produced OEM processor. It was launched around June 2000. An OEM processor, also known as a tray processor, is manufactured to be sold in bulk to system builders such as Compaq, HP, Dell, etc. This part is not an engineering sample or a prototype."
So waiting for get one

I found this post on a german forum:
"[...]The slowest processor for the base A, which one could buy, was the Duron 600. As Engeneering Samples there were a few Duron 550, which however never came into the trade."
Unfortunately I didnt find any pics on the whole net.
Anyway, thanks for the info, Miki! |
