Hi,
what is that for a Card? It has a 80196 installed, full length 16Bit ISA and a never seen Port...

It's an I/O card.
IMHO it has either 8x RS-232 (V.24) or 8x RS-422 (V.11) ports because there are 8 identical groups of socketed ICs on the obard.

It's a high density connector because there are no space for 8x 9-pin port connectors on the board.
To use the card you need an adaptor cable - a so called 'octopus cable'.
Here is an example of an octopus cable. The cable for your card should look like it.

This one is a network cable and will not fit in your card. |

Yes, you can use it in all PCs with 16-Bit ISA bus.
In order to do this you will need a driver and an octopus cable. You must also know how to set jumpers on the card. |
