| I just picked up this beutiful chip last week with a couple others and cant dig up any info on it, it looks like its a prototype of some kind, I have tried every number printed on here and come up empty , anyone shed any light on what this is and does, and is it a real prototype? Do they use any chips like this in jet aircraft? |

it is a prototype for sure
maybe it is so called blueskying ....
but i think my speculation is better than rarecpu
if using keyword : prototype ,ua,jet,VLSI to google
a NASA document (NASA-CR-194587) (1993 annual-review) could be found
it mentioned about
projects of developing VLSI chips for space/flight usage (around 1992-1994) and their future comerical transfer
unfortunately this VLSI and that VLSI is not the same

LOL yes it is, i had won something else more worthwhile from him and decided for 10$ i would add this on the order. Maybe he should have said it was from a bubble Jet printer instead of trying to make it sound like it is for a United Airlines jet. I still like it tho and since it is a prototype its worth the ten bucks i paid for it. |
