Hi, I am new in this forum. I have started my collection just 3 months ago. I am really happy to have found this forum as I think I am one of the few people (if any more) in Spain who likes to collect processors.
At this moment my (small) collection is formed by:
Zilog:
Z84C0006
Motorola:
MC6800PD
AMD:
Athlon A1333AM3C (that was mine)
Intel:
D3002
P4040
C8008-1
C8080A
P8086-2
C8087
P8088-2
A80188
A80186-10
A80286-10
D80287-8
N80387-SX-16
FA80386EX25
A80386DX-33
A80486SX-25
A80486SX2-50
A80487SX
A80502-90SX958
FV80503-233 (MMX)
I am waiting for a A80376 (not 386) and D8085AH-1 that I have bought.
My first goal is having (more or less) one sample of every "main" processor (that is, one 386dx, one 386sx, one 80286, one MC68000, then one AMD-8086) then I would try to extend my collection to other not as known processors as Transmeta.
Now I am looking for a 4004 (I do not mind if it is a P) and a 80C187, as much as I can pay the big amounts seller want for them ($87 is too much for me). Is more important now getting old chips, more difficult to be found with time, but just few of them per month, than more modern that you could be bought in ebay for $4 or $5 dollars.
I hope I can be helpful for the forum. |

Hi, welcome.
80C187 have stupid prices.
Be careful before spending big money on chips. We had an issue recently with 80386-12Mhz chips being remarked. |

Hola tokayev,
Bienvenido.
Buena suerte !!! |
