I have a D865GBF INTEL board and i was given a SL7E5 intel pentium 4 de 3.2/1M/800 mgz processor but It seems that they are not compatible. why? can you help me? which board reference should i get for this processor?

Not all D865GBF's support Prescott CPU's. Check your board revision:
