CPU Upgrade

I currently have a socket 462 Duron 1300Mhz CPU and want to upgrade to either a Sempron 2800+ or an Athlon 2600+ 333FSB as these have approx the same actual speed frequency rating. Do Semprons have any drawbacks? What's the best choice of these two processors?

My mobo supports 333Mhz FSB and have 512MB DDR PC2700 (333Mhz) RAM which is why I want a matching CPU - either Sempron 2800+ or Athlon XP2600+ as these two CPU's have approx same rating frequency.

What's the best choice of these two CPU's

I have a Sempron 2500+ not even used it but 2 or 3 times, I just like Athlon better, faster. Got this off this site hope it helps. Because AMD Sempron CPUs are rated relatively to Celeron processors, their rating numbers are approximately 300 MHz lower than the rating numbers of Athlon XP processors. For instance, this Sempron 2800+ runs internally at 2 GHz, supports 333 Mhz Front Side bus and has 256 KB of level 2 cache. The rating of this CPU is 200 MHz higher than the rating of Athlon XP 2600+ AXDA2600DKV3D, despite the fact that internal frequency of the XP 2600+ is 83 MHz higher and other features of both processors are the same. If you're looking for an upgrade processor then consider upgrading to Athlon XP processors rather than Sempron CPUs - Athlon XPs may cost less and will be faster than similarly rated Semprons.

Motherboard ASROCK K7S41 and socket 462,actually it mounts AMD CPU SEMPRON 2400+.
Which is the fastest cpu I can install on, and which is the speed improvement ?
