I have Windows v3.11 disks. If you will pay for shipping I can make copies for you. If you just want Win 3.1, I can send originals in unopened package to you.

According to Wikipedia there was a IE 5.01 (special version) for Windows 3.11.
An IE 5.01 for Win 95 or 98 will NOT work under Win 3.11.
Be warned - such an old IE version contains a lot of bugs. Use it at your own risk !
IMHO you should use the Netscape Navigator instead.
You should also get a working motherboard. The mobo you got: http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8641
doesn't have RAM und cache - therefore it won't work. |

You guys might be getting a bit ahead of yoruselves. Networking, while not that complicated, is not that simple on W3.X. You'll need drivers for the network card, and if I recall correctly you'll need to run something like winsock to get TCP/IP. Get that running before you worry about a web browser!
Speaking of browsers.. anyone remember Lynx? |

I think it's not very good idea.
Are you sure you will get a Windows 3.11 there?
You can get a "modified" version, a virus or a trojan horse as well.
And what's about the violation of the laws? That windows version is quite old, but the authorities don't care. Neither does Microsoft.
It's a perfect opportunity for M$ to collect good $$$ from you.

I agree with JAC.
It isn't easy to install and configure network support under Win 3.11. Computer networks weren't very common 15 years ago! |

I prefer Micro98

Mmmmm fits on a junk CF card and is handy-dandy for some critical apps which must be usable on every PC in the house (Starcraft, for example). |
