I am currently ready to buy a laptop.
I want choose one from Fujitsu S6410 and Thinkpad T61 series.
Which is better under same hardware configuration?
I prefer LED screen but Thinkpad hasn't.
Also there price is an important aspect i have to consider.
S6410 is about $1780, T61 is about $1370. what's the price in your country?
Any suggestion?
Which one you like ?
Thanks _________________ My vintage CPU collection:www.cpumuseum.com

I prefer the Thinkpad, they are of excellent quality (Lenovo has done well at keeping the IBM quality)
Also, should the need arrise, parts for the thinkpad will be easier to get. _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Ukrainian prices:
T61 is about $1700+
Fujitsu S6410 $2200+ |
Poland prices:
Lenovo (IBM) ThinkPad T61 (T7300, 1GB, 120GB, 14,1", NVQ VB) - $1980
I have Fujitsu Siemens, I had HP, Compaq and IBM.
I think these days the Thosiba,Dell and IBM are better than the others. I saw many new HP,Acer's and Fujitsu dead or broked. |

I got one Dell Inspiron D531 and I am not satisfied with the screen. It has VERY poor viewing angle but everything else is great.
(got it from my school) |

I agree 100 % with ya! My school computer (the Dell) has it and I have gotten the blue screen like 10-15 times in 3 months while my XP based comp haven't got it yet and it has been used for over a year now. Vista is very slow to. |
