| I want to upgrade my computer, but I can't find anything on what the best cpu to stick in my mother board is. As my title says i would like a x2 5600+ from amd. Currently my main board is a EM61SM/EM61PM with a AM2 socket. I am currently running a x2 3800+ It has a 500W power supply. If anyone can help me that would be great. If a 5600+ is to much for my board, what would be the best am2 socket cpu I could get for this board. thankyou |

If you upgrade CPU only you'll see up to +~10% game speed. to get more you have to upgrate the video too.

so will the current mother board handle a 5600+?
Or is 5200+ the highest for it? |
