After I burned nearly 100$ (I parcel from John was lost on itīs way over the ocean Sad ), I had to find something cheap....

Here we are: an Intel SBC 80/20 with manual
Some pictures here, sorry not cleaned yet.
Is it possible, that the ES markings indicate sample chips? I only know CS markings from those days.

very nice board and chips, ES does seem to mean ES.

And again sorry about the lost shipment.

John, so ES doesn`t indicate engineering sample.
But what to expect for less then 20€ (incl. shipping Wink )
What is it worth? 8080A-2?

Yes, ES does mean Engineering Sample (I think you didn't understand John's reply?)

Very nice board. Not many could claim to have got something that nice for $20 Smile

C8080A-2 should be worth $75-$150 or so, so yah you got a great deal, looks like someone took the EPROM's from the board though Sad

Hi,
just to keep alive your hope , I'm waiting John's and other parcels too. I don't know why but in late months any shipping from USA takes an awfull time to be delivered (at least if shipped here in Italy). Actually I'm receiveing shipment made at the end of November 2007 so for now shipping from USA takes at least 40/45 days. Btw nice ES chips and board Smile

The packages I sent out to Europe in early November arrived along time ago but the packages i sent around the first to the middle of December have yet to arrive so it sounds like this is common problem this time of year.
