How to remove boxed fan on Pentium I?

How can I do that? Is it possible to check if it`s the original fan?

The FAN part is removed by squeezing the pins on the sides of the fan.

Yupp same here. If it was sold by Intel with a fan its a part of the CPU.

I take it off for the photos, but after, I let it on the heatsink.
