what I am thinking about is...
How many people raedy to buy pizza+salat+bear for $20 ? at least above 1 000 000. And how many want to buy K62-337 for $20 ? may be 10-20, not more 100 imho.
And how many K62-337 are exist in the world? Much more than 100. _________________ My Want List: http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22729

Here in Norway, you could buy 1kg ordinary cheese, 300g hotdogs and one frozen italian pizza 500g for 20$. You could also buy 1kg chicken fillet for 20$ _________________ "640 cores should be enough for anybody" - evermore xD |

No! I am ready to buy it for $20 too.
I just think there is no reason to pay more then $20. And we have a chance to find it for less then $20. maybe. _________________ My Want List: http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22729

This is based upon the premise that your chips are not mainly composed of C4004. _________________ My vintage CPU collection:www.cpumuseum.com

I think you own it, but they can take it away if they want, just like if a tornado wants to take your house. |
If they can take away your house, for having a brush pile on your property that they do not approve of, then you do NOT own it. _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

I don't understand what you are talking about.
A little explanation for non-Us?
In Italy, and all of EU, the only way to have you house taken away is for expropriation (eviction?). You get the idea...
If you talk about some HUD stuff it could be what you are talking of? |

do you have property taxes? or housing codes saying what you can or cannot build? _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Yes, and yes.
If you don't pay taxes for your house you just have a debt, unless you reach a huge debt the state isn't going to take your house away (ICI tax).
If you don't follow housing codes (piano regolatore) you can either wait for a condone (condono edilizio - Italy after all) or if your house or dependancy was built in certain places the state (city admin.) will demolish it (no condone possible at all), e.g. houses built on see shore (mafia condos and private housing)...
Last comes eminent domain (or expropriation)(espropriazione per motivi d'interesse generale), but it's in our constitution and states for a compensation.
In each case you own the house, legally speaking. Unfair taxes is another matter to me. |
