I pulled this one out of a router/ras box today, it was socketed and I pulled it out by the heatsink. It was seated real good in a non-ZIF socket, so the heatsink has to be glued.
Is it possible that some of you could tell me the family by looking at the pins?
And how would you suggest removing the heatsink? I tried some alcohol on the smeared goo on the side and it did nothing. |

I think its a Motorola 68060. |

I looked up some photos of the 68060 on eBay, and you are right . The pins match a 68060. If I just could get the heatsink off to see the part number...

EDIT: And you where right. I got the HS off now (but all the glue sits on top still). Well it is a MC68EC060RC50! |
