|
|
| Trying to upgrade a AMD-A0750MPR24B (slot a) processor to at least one gig on a Kadoka motherboard, but I need some assistance. Is this possible? Or, is it best to just look at a new motherboard that will allow me to still use my other items? It seems to just be chugging and I would like it to go faster. Thanks for any help. Computer was bought in 2000 from Gateway. |

How much cash can you invest?
Actually what you ask is possible, but if you want to upgrade cpu+motherboard, would be faster and typing saver. |

the fastest SlotA processor was the 1000mhz Athlon based on the thunderbird core, IMO it's better to change the whole thing as your computer is getting quite vintage nowadays and doesnt offer much choices when it comes to upgrading _________________ Power without the price. |

For the cost of the k7-1000, a little effort and an amd based system for cheap... much more prforming machine! |
