i wouldnt buy it as well because of the high power consumption, i mean - eight cores @ 1.2V would be a couple billion transistors - TDP would probably be around 250W Very Happy

What I'd like to see is the holy grail of processors:

Intel 3.2GHz/32MB/3200/.75

Good ol 8 C2D type (16 cores, with 8 shared 4MB L2s) with an 800Mhz quad-pumped FSB with 4 DDR4 channels Very Happy

Any a TDP of only 80W Very Happy I can dream, cant I?

I made it from a socket drawing of Intel Spec.

No resistor on a socket. It is on motherboard only...
