What is it for: Intel NG80960JA16?

Hi

Have pulled a card out of an old server that has an Intel NG80960JA16 chip on it.

What does the card do? OS was wiped before receiving, so have no ideas at all.

Any help appreciated.

the JA is a standard i960. It was used sommonly on SCSI controllers and RAID controllers.
