2nd is with nice painting - litle strange for ibm Very Happy . Its from notebook, on other side of pcb was graphic chip - i've seen only part of pcb.

It's a RAMDAC for IBM XGA-2 display adapter.

Aaargh so i left display adapter on that board. Evil or Very Mad
I've started collecting vga chips (everyone collecting CPU's, i've never seen page about vga's) Arrow this one looked like vga.

By the way - don't you know boys name of 1st graphic card? can't find it - 1st cpu is well known, but 1st x86 graphic or 1st ever graphic chip?

First x86 graphic card was probalbly monochrome (MDA) card. According to this page http://www.machine-room.org/computers/268/technical.html it used Motorola 6845 CRT controller.

In my last visit i found that board again - another mystery revealed Very Happy On that board was really integrated XGA-2 graphic adapter - info: .http://www.tavi.co.uk/ps2pages/ohland/XGA2.html#Display_Controller
There is also IBM 486SLC2-50 CPU - is this CPU rare or common? - should i take a look for another board for exchange?
