DO they have a chip collecting business? or gold scrapping?
Or do they just suck
Sent a package to vinicio, never showed up, so I sent him some replacements, never showed up.
This has happened about 10 times with eBay auctions too. _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Italy seems a real problem. I see so many listings saying they will not ship to Italy, or they will only ship with insurance.
I hope vinivo isnt claiming you send more replacements or a refund? |

I just started noticing this as well. I was bidding on a couple of auctions and they flat out wouldnt ship to Italy. Has it always been like this? |

Really got worse during and after the italian post office went on strike.
I suspect they just dump stuff in the Med. that they dont feel like delivering. _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Well, it's pretty clear there are some very sticky fingers in the Italian postal service. I suspect many Italian buyers can buy their stuff back on ebay.it |

Hi,
John you read my mind, I was just thinking about posting a tread to get some feedback on international shipment TO/FROM Italy.
In my case I'm waiting a lot of envelopes still "swimming" between USA and Italy (the K6-2 from Wizzard1, AMI 6008 from jrmunro, plus other ebay items). while 2 envelopes I sent to Doccy and Debs in middle February still are "MIA" (Missing In Action) .....
As my experience the things are goinig worse day by day since last October but I don't know why, not only for USA-Italy shipment but for a lot of european country (3 or 4 weeks to delivery a letter to/from France, Germany or UK) while shipment from Taiwan/China/Australia have no problem at all, less than 2 weeks ...
It's not a problem about sending items made by or with gold, I use my ebay account to win a lot of stuff for my boss that collect Jukebox and Jukebox related stuff like manual/flyer or brochures and even a 1 sheet brouchure takes an age to be delivered. |

It's completly out of control, its like the italian post office has went backwards 300 years.
Is it now being run by african immigrants or something? _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Hi,
today I received 2 envelopes, one from x11west and the other from Marcin, both send in very late March, so less than 2 weeks to be delivered ....
I think that delivery time are calculated on a random(random(1)) base |

I hadn't problems with shippments from/to Italy even with not insured packages. Maybe I was lucky or I'm not present on black list of italian customs _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

I hope surface mail isn't affected, I'm waiting for a package from Italy which among other things contains an upgrade for the PC I am typing from. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

John and I have found an accord, as refund, he will send all of his collection. _________________ Fatti non foste a viver come bruti, ma per seguir virtute e canoscenza.

If it just was that, you'd get your stuff in regular time. You have a whole italian Postal system to blame. (Sad joke)
They always sucked in many ways, I personally don't want to buy from southern Itlay after many packages lost, unless by other private courriers. It's not for the people but for the system, it's a jungle.
We had many scnadals in Italy for like........ everything, I'd like to be in Japan, they have corruption etc. but they still have what they need, otherwise it's resignation and infamy.... |
