Is it now being run by african immigrants or something? |
If it just was that, you'd get your stuff in regular time. You have a whole italian Postal system to blame. (Sad joke)
They always sucked in many ways, I personally don't want to buy from southern Itlay after many packages lost, unless by other private courriers. It's not for the people but for the system, it's a jungle.
We had many scnadals in Italy for like........ everything, I'd like to be in Japan, they have corruption etc. but they still have what they need, otherwise it's resignation and infamy.... |
I was reading about the trash scandal going on in Southern Italy right now, crazy. All the trash from the North being dumped illegally in the south. And its being controlled by the mafia? |

JAC: I know. But I think I'll go to China and start a chip gold recovery factory.
Marcin: we had scandals for Serie A too, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luciano_Moggi
Windmiller: it's 50 years of wrong policies and corruption, illegality and manipulation, anyone of you knew we almost had a coup d'état in 1970?

Enough politics, just be sure to have insured your package when you aren't sending to trusted buyers. |

In Italy, she notes, the post office doesn't work, and no native expects it to.
The bureaucracy is not only indifferent, but mildly amused by customer expectations. |
Interesting.
It seems many Italians conveniently forget that when making paypal and ebay claims for non-delivery. |

1. Not exactly like that, you know that in certain ragions, things do work, but sometimes you have issues. In other regions you have nothing left but faith (any, even others to make prayers stronger). I know that if I'm doing anything to know what happened, the answer will be "we don't know", and even after having interrogations in parliament and representative complaining you'll still have no action taken, as directors are changed according to the winning party. So you have nothing to do, I know the employees where I go, they openly say to me what is wrong and where, but they count nothing.
2. JAC, if it's because of italian postal system, you're right. I want to tell you something, do you know Malpensa airport?
A couple of years ago they made a huge police operation/investigation because passengers reported having been robbed so many times that it happened to discover that a gang of the employees that transport luggage from a plain to another or for delivery opened everything to steal valuable goods. A sentence with no comas... you get my mood on that.
All italians, no immigrants (so the local political right wing couldn't blame it on strangers).
JAC, what would you think of that? You just have your suitcase wrapped with a palstic film and get an insurance. Post office is the least.
Italy is good country with good people, but the system is such that you get grinded once you want to change anything, old is safe because it's known... |
