I currently have AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1800+ on a MSI MS-6380E board. Im wanting to upgrade to the best cpu that will work. The MSI site has 6 different versions listed and I'm not sure which is mine for sure. Is there a way to tell for sure or does anyone know offhand what I can upgrade to?

Open your case and the information should be printed on the motherboard, probably between the PCI slots.

1. This is AMI BIOS release.
2. This BIOS fixes the following problems of the previous version:
- Supports AMD Barton XP3000+ (FSB333) CPU (For KT3 Ultra2 Only).
- Adds "CPU Halt Command Detection" item in the BIOS Setup.
- Fixes ATI 8500 AGP card cannot be used.
This BIOS is intended for MS-6380E PCB with KT266A & KT333 chipset ONLY. K7T266 Pro2-A & K7T266 Pro2-RU DO NOT use the same BIOS.
