I'm still looking for a 50MHz P5 called "80500" - does anybody know if they really exist? I heard rumours that there are even 40MHz parts arount (early engineering samples from 1992).

I didn't know they called it "80500". According to Pentium 60/66 specification update Intel produced 50 MHz engineering sample without heatspreader (Q0399 sSpec), and if the information in the specification update is correct it should be called A80501-50. I never heard about 40MHz Pentium. I'd love to get one Pentium 50 for my collection - who wouldn't? I'm sure if it will ever appear on eBay its price will be $100+.
