As much as I think it's great for collectors to have a resource to show what things sell for, I would hate for sellers to use it to keep pushing prices up so many collectors will not be able to afford some chips.
great price though for chipcollector _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Yepp i have tracked that one but then there where some more chips included (Intel P4002-1 RAM chip (gray) and (2) AMD purple ceramic AM1702ADC EPROMs)
One criteria are that the auction has to contain a single chip. This is so that the auction can be compared with another auction with the same chip.
But if the value of the added chips are a few dollars then i there are no problem adding it.
What are a AM1702ADC or P4002-1 RAM worth?

Less than $5 each for the EPROMs, and around $10 for the P4002... But I don't think that really influenced the final bid price. The 4004 is what people were after. (I could always PM you the high bidder's email address if you wanted to ask him whether those bonus chips affected the bidding at all.)
In the mean time, maybe you could just add a note indicating that a few extra chips of insignificant value were included?
Another thing to keep in mind in these auctions is that the final proxy bid isn't necessarily the actual maximum bid price - so all the chips in the list are probably undervalued to some extent.

Ok then i see no problem adding this.
About the value of the chip i have been trying not to call it a price guide or price list. Its just a database over sold chips on eBay and my philosophy is that its up to the collector himself to interpret the data. So i agree with you totally.

Undervalued for only one person, the winning bidder ; overvalued for all other person, loser bidders. _________________ Register on x86-guide.net to manage and share your collection on-line !

Depends on their financial means, I suppose. What you're willing to pay could be far less than what you think the item is worth.
