I just put up about 50 chips / CPU's for sale on EBAY. Lots of unique chips including NS 4004, 4008 and 4009. Here's the link -

I also have vintage board auctions that expire in about a day.

That's where drop shippers like genna and cpushack are very helpful. $4.80 for shipping within the US, almost a weeks groceries to ship elsewhere!

$24.00 or $73.56 to ship one small chip to Germany !

OUCH !

If you don't want to ship overseas why do you offer the worldwide shipping?

Crazy overseas shipping prices...
Shipping is more expensive than what you sell...

Thats for priority international, which unfortunately is the only safe way for a seller to ship things overseas

First class international would be $5, but has no tracking, so the buyer will just claim they didnt gfet it, and paypal will refund there money.

It happens ALOT now.

I try only to sell to forum members because they dont rip me off.

What? $73??? I just shipped an item to Sweden and it cost me $10 plus another $10 for signature confirmation.

For those of you who have been members of this forum for a while, I won't charge you the extra $10 signature confirmation, so the shipping charge to Europe should only be around $5-$10. Any item over $40 will still need signature confirmation.

In this case, where does eBay get its prices from?

AFAIK, all international parcels, regardless of mail class, can (in theory) be tracked via the customs label number. That's been my experience, anyway. But I've also had priority mail int'l parcels that were never scanned upon arrival, so that's no guarantee either.
