I feel bored that I cannot see who is bidding on ebay!
I am very curious to see who has the same interest in the items of my interest.
So while browsing on ebay I always glad to know who is bidding the item I am watching.
But Ebay prohibits me from getting to know this!
This is a very stupid rule I think. and you? _________________ My vintage CPU collection:www.cpumuseum.com

The few times I had the idea of bidding oversea I saw some guys (usually cpuworld dwellers), that made clear I wouldn't win unless selling a kidney and an eye
But yes, it's boring to see ******** all the way. |

I think it really sucks, i used to be able to tell who was bidding, and if i knew them and i wasnt dying for the chip i would not bid against others from here, but that is over now and i am afraid we are just beating each other to death with the prices, All this really does is to drive up the prices of everything so ebay makes more money from us and sellers. I am strongly against this new rule they have shoved down our throats, as well as the new way they sort the catagories, this now sucks because i have to look at alot of crap i am not interested in just to find the things that i am interested in. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." Yup, ebay hides the identities of bidders now. They SAY its to prevent second chance offer scams. But it REALLY encourages shil bidding which of course makes ebay more $$ _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Is Allegro in the US yet?
I would change to another Auction service in a split second, if one was available. |

It's tedious but, if you know the user id of the bidders that cause you grief, you can still advance search by bidder and see what they are bidding on.
Better then nothing but agreed, this policy really sucks.
