Hi,
this chip is not from NexGen but it's a National Semiconductors own design. I think that there is a typo in the original document, here http://www.national.com/news/1996/9611/emb96006emco.html you can find the press release of the National Odin board that use the Ns486sx |

I think that it's a typo in the documentation too. The chip's name should be NS486 SXL / SXF

Thanks for the clarification. I found this same typo so many places that I began to believe it  |
