Incredible find! What did they cost (if you don't mind saying)? I think if they came from a flea market, they will certainly be worth cpuswe adding to the database as record low prices _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

It was most likly found at the missing mail to Italy flea market, Since so much stuff gets lost there it would make sense. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

Hi,
sounds strange, I know, but these 3 chips truly came from a flea market. They came from a box filled of electronic scrap (mostly TV and radio parts). 15 EUR for all 3 chips along with a very old Philips VCR. I guess this stuff came from some recycling/scrapping facility near my town. Many flea market sellers are scavengers of scrapyards! Years ago I have seen a scrapyard - few miles north of my town Udine - filled with MOUNTAINS (literally! believe me!) of electronic stuff that came from the Italy's telephone company (Telecom Italia). Note, parts of telephone switching systems are recycled for the high content in silver, copper and palladium. This facility has been relocated in a more "ecological" location, but, If someone in the forum is from Udine or near maybe it remember such a place. |
