Is the date code on the actual cpu relevant for the PII’s? On this Klamath it is A630816CY8-0790.

The reason I ask is because I received a new Klamath without any sspec or qspec but it does have the datecode on the cpu along with A-O and some interesting verbage. The datecode on this new Klamath cpu is almost a year earlier than the cpu datecode from this Klamath which would seem to make it very early. It seems that most use the datecode from the white tag on the board so my question is, is the cpu datecode relevant? I’ll take scans in a few days.
