|

Yeow! Look at those core voltages. Heat city. I am presently using
my Cyrix MII 366 cpu on 2.4 volts and some PII, III slot cpus on
1.7 volts on their Asus AV61V14/ AB61V14 (bios fires up saying,
"615") with some electricity saved (except that I`m overclocking
all busses except keyboard area) on the "615" so, no. I also got
in a trade, an Asus A7V133 motherboard and run an Athlon 100/
1200 cpu in it at 133 MHz/ 1066 MHz, 1.325 volts on the core and
all, stabley by jumper settings. Also I`m using a Pentium 166 MMX,
an AMD K6-2 won`t work here, in an AOpen AX5TC motherboard
at 83 MHz memory bus, 250 MHz core and 2.2 volts so not even a
fan on the fins. Marcin, if you fire up some of those cpus, good luck
on the customizing. I use electricity at this QTH almost like I`d run
the computers on a 90 watts pedals generator and would rather
not have "glass legs" or Southern climate heat. This can save
electricity for a nicer pursuit, Amateur Radio. In the mean time
my computers are running rings around my friends`uncustomized
ones substituting as best as they can for old video tape recorders,
image scanners with set- up boxes, letter postage now badly
censored or "blacklisted" in the USA and more. By the way, why
doesn`t someone privately run an exchange (= good fake auction)
for plenty of these chips and other electronics here instead of
E- Bay? |

Really, that's a very-very nice cpu.
I just would give anybody half arm for that.
Can I ask how much was the black K6 if not a secret? |
