Hi,
Just a message to warn all other collectors about a bad seller on Ebay.
I won this auction on Ebay :
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6727360426
I sent payement for 4 Intel P80C86A-2, and I received 3 P8086-2 and 1 D8086-2. When I ask the seller to explain me the raison of this bad surprise, he mail me this :
" They are all 8086-2 processors. If you don't like them, send them back and I'll refund your money less shipping ".
Have your opinion... |

It's the same seller I bought 6 P80C86A-2 CPUs from. From 6 processors only one processor was P80C86A-2

If you paid with a credit card via PayPal report it as fraud to the credit card company and they will handle it and get your money back from PayPal.
PayPal will deal with to seller.PayPal doesn`t like you to do this, but hey it`s not their money.
I have had to resort to this a few times.

If the seller wants the chips back let him send you money for shipping.

I fully agree with chiptalk - the item was misrepresented and the seller should refund the whole amount. My case is slightly different - I did get one P80C86A-2 - the one on the picture, five others were not in the description. By eBay rules I cannot even leave negative feedback, as those 5 processors were out of eBay deal. I'll leave it up to desideriu - if he wants I'll add the seller to the bad sellers list.

Hi,
I'm fully agree with Chiptalk too.
Yes Gennadiy, according to me you can put this Seller in the bad seller list.
Like you, I'm not a fan for negative feedback on Ebay... Solidarity and good information between collectors is the best way against this kind of "seller".
Thanks to all, |
