ATi Radeon HD3870 on Gigabyte GA-MA69VM-S2

Will a HD3870 work on this motherboard? I kont know what PCI-E version I have (1.1 or 1.0a) here is the link to the motherboard:

Download and install 'PC Wizard 2008', it's freeware:

http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php

1) Open program

2) Click Hardware icon (should be the 2nd icon on the top left)

3) Click PCI-Express (from list)

4) Read PCI-E version

As for the video card, with the minimal amount of information you've provided I'd say it will work; barring any unforseen problems with the card, motherboard, other hardware, etc.

keep in mind cristi about the extra power plug...if u not connect it the vga dont works!!!!
and as i know this mobo works with this vga....
