|
|
The goal of this thread is to warn others about bad sellers on eBay. The first post in this thread contains a summary of all other posts. The summary includes seller's eBay name, complaint and name (in parenthesis) of one or more bidders who can provide more information about this complaint.
Bad sellers (in alphabetical order):
- **buyitnow** - seller received the payment and never delivered the item. Probably the same seller as staceymama@hotmail.com (gshv).
- activatecellularinc - didn't honor a promise to combine shipping: "Asking prior he says yes...but just plays dumb when you request combined postage after buying." (Neon_WA)
- alwaysdrita - at one time used different account (probably chipclub50, I don't remember right now) to bid on her own auctions. It looks like she is ok now, but still - be careful (gshv)
- danfuboco - shipped the chip 5 weeks after the auction end, the chip was in very bad condition (The_Mad).
- electronicplanet - received the payment and never delivered the item. (Minuteman).
- euro-bank (h1@hubert-spahn.de) - received the payment and never delivered the chips. He stopped responding to the mails just after the payment (Minuteman)
- funskiing - Sent 2 packages postage due, I asked about it and he accused me of trying to screw him (CPUShack)
- gordo-gato - The seller sent P8086-2 instead of P80C86A-2. More: http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1004 (desideriu)
- hega-c (http://www.hega-computer.de/) - I bought a Matrox Millennium and recieved a S3 instead (Minuteman)
- metzenkoenig - Nice contact until payment, never got any chips, nor heard of him again (Grampa)
- neubeiyabe - received the payment and never delivered the chips (Minuteman)
- nkellyw - ships boxed processors without packing by sticking shipping labels directly on the box (CPUShack)
- staceymama@hotmail.com - seller received the payment and never delivered the item. Probably the same seller as **buyitnow** (???)
- steveunz - misleading auction description, the seller may change auction conditions while the auction is running (tlccomp)
Bad buyers (in alphabetical order):
- pg0610 (Pierre Garibian from France) bought chips and paid through PayPal. I shipped the chips, 5 days after payment and few days after shipping Paypal let me know he didn't receive the chips yet. Some days later i was notified that he requested a refund. PayPal reversed the payment. (Unzlbunzl)
- Superfred78 (Frédéric Imbert from France) - bought chips from me and paid through PayPal. I shipped the chips, and a few days after shipping the payment was reversed by PayPal. Frédéric contacted me shortly and promised to resolve the problem. After two or three exchanged e-mails he stopped responding. Any attempts to contact him after that failed. (gshv).

Thanks guys - I updated the first thread.
Grampa, what do you think about adding similar thread in your forum? We could periodically synchronize data in the first post in this thread -it shouldn't take a lot of time even if we do it manually.

I updated the first post. Did he replace the video card, or you're stuck with S3?

No, I still have the S3..it isn't worth sending such a card back, the shipping costs would exceed the card's price |

all cpus have bent pins ... some only a few but most with many.
the worst damaged CPUs are on the 1st photo
In the auctions description, he said "Some of them have a few bent pins" ... it is rather :"most of them have many bent pins" |

I would say:
It's time for Negative feedback (for misleading description)... but it's your call. I don't know of anyone who would have bought those cpu's if they knew they were in that condition. _________________
