I got two Intel P4 423 chips which have not so many printing on the heaksink, such as the frequency etc.

And they are also different from the normal 423 ES with "Intel confidential" on the top.

One with little HS is similar to the P4 1.3G-1.9G ES, the other with large HS like the 1.XG one.

I think they are ES chips, but does anyone have more information about them?

Thanks!

The second one is similar to my unmarked Xeon ES

Can you show the bottom of them? As you see from the Xeon pic, the pin layout is different to a P4 with the same core. Both have 603 pins, but use different size/layout sockets.

Debs I see some markings on the pic to the left, they are faint but i see some numbers on the heat spreader.
Looks like its 87435056
and down towards the bottom of it it looks like d2435056 g200

Not saying that these numbers will help but i do see them

The second is similar to the famous QT69ES, the unrated P4.

I'll try to remember tomorrow to look for it to give the actual numbers if they are useful for anyone. It'll be at least a couple of months before I can test it to get more info (once I pay the last of my chip bills in a few weeks, I'll be building proper storage for my collection, including a range of computers I will be setting up).

Hi, Marcin and debs3759

It is not Xeon although it look like that.

It is p4 423 cpu, and I get it with several P4 423 QT69ES 1.XG together from one computer seller.
Cpuswe has shown the picture of QT69ES 1.XG, so you can compare them Smile
