| Any idea where I can buy Anti-static Foam in the US? I just got an old card catalog that I am going to use to store my chips and want to put foam in it. |

Conductive Foam
TLCF50 illustrated
Black, conductive, non-corrosive foam available in two densities. Supplied in 6mm thick sheets. Manufactured to conform to MOD specification TS10218A.
High Density 300x300x6mm CF50
10 sheets for about 20 GBP depending on how many you buy.
The low density is not good for storage of components. The high density is superb. It's what I use to store all my chips. Relativley cheap as well. About 2 GBP for a 30cm x 30cm sheet.
A sheet can confortably hold 25 486/pentium sized chips with plenty of room between the chips to avoid chipping when being moved.
So that works out to about 0.08 GBP foam storage cost per chip as described, or a heck of a lot less for DIPS and smaller chips.
The foam should last for many years before you need to replace it.

If you can find it cheaper, let me know! |

I need to but some Conductive hi/lo Density foam for a 15 drawer cabinet with 14x18 inch drawers. I am realizing how expensive this will be and found that there is significant price break in bulk. It might be worth it if others need some to do a group buy. If enough are interested we could get a decent price break.
Anyone else interested? |

I could use a few large mats of it, like say 24x36 sheets or something. What thickness do you need, i need 1/4 or 3/8ths. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

I paid $4 a sheet, High Density 300x300x6mm / 12x12x0.25 inches thick. Minimum pack size 10 sheets.
What is your pricing? |

1/4 sounds good to me
We'll see how many others are interested and then look at placing an order. Discounts seem to start at around 20 sheets. I need a least 15. |

I'm looking for a 50x50cm sheet for an Ikea display case, does it exist? If not or too expensive, I'll take another size
So I'm in too. _________________ My microprocessor collection: The Gecko's CPU Library

I've e-mailed two retailers about custom sizes. I actually need a custom size as well, something like 18 x 14. |

50mm x 50mm ? Should that say 50cm x 50cm ? _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

I missed your post for some reason....from what I can tell too freakin much . I checked the two places recommended in the US and they are both $$$.

About 22.50 1/4"x24"x36" Conductive Urethane Hi Density. Its about 12.50 for low density of the same size. |
