Hi all!
Collectors who already had looked for informations about Intel 4040 know how sources are rare and divergent. So I create this topic to collect docs, links and other related informations.
First, for collectors who have one or more in their collection: please also give us the older copyright/datecode you have, to determine if the chips was made from 1972 or 1974
Good searches!

Sadly, Jérôme wants dates, and the datecodes are on the bottom of the chips. The image database only shows the tops of the chips, which I always thought was keeping a certain amount of information hidden _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

I think keeping my post brief meant I didn't say what I meant to. The images are good for some info (and that is what I think this threads is for), they just don't provide everything. I have always thought that to provide maximum info, it would be best (where possible, which is up to the owner of the chip...) to have pics of both top and bottom (and even sides, for large chips where that gives extra information).
If original owners of any of the above chips read this and are able to reply from where they are, it would be good to have dates for that range of packages and markings. I always saw different markings as being of historical interest, although never had all the info to interpret that data.
Dates for the ES could be especially useful _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
